Daniel Efergan & Gavin Strange, a creative combo working in the digital depths of Aardman Animations, strive to create fun through building games, nurturing communities and telling stories.
Aardman Digital was set up in 2007 to teleport Aardman’s entertainment expertise into the virtual world.
Combining the renowned talent of our directors, designers and animators with an unhealthy familiarity with all that is digital, we are able to produce engaging interactive content and generate thriving online communities both for our own characters and external clients, complimenting Aardman’s award winning portfolio with digital work equally as compelling.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Dan Efergan – Creative Director at Aardman Digital.
Before joining Aardman, Dan kept himself (and others) entertained doing a plethora of things, programming, designing, teaching, recruiting.
He was the creative and technical lead on Light Up Bristol and was a co-founder of the Submerge New Media Festival.

Gavin Strange – Senior Designer at Aardman Digital.
Gavin has been playing with crayons and professionally colouring in since he was aged 18, learning the ropes as a junior designer and then setting up his own business under the guise of JamFactory 4 years later.
Along side his staple diet of Web and Graphic Design, Gavin has turned his hand to vinyl toys, photography and film making.
